lyrics

If I could just see your face in the moonlight,
then I could fly from this place into your arms of might. Help my spirit take flight, to your place in the sky.
If I could just hold your hand in the sunlight,
then I would not be afraid to walk the shadow-lands. Give me strength for the fight for your kingdom in the sky
if I could hold your hand in the sunlight.
Oh, I can’t comprehend the wonder of your love.
Yet when the night is long, I’ll search the stars above,
For a glimmer of your smile and to hear your voice within the wind. I can sense your presence here beside me now.
And with the spirit-call comes the promise of a brand new dawn!
If I could just see your face in the moonlight,
then I could fly from this place into your arms of might. Help my spirit take flight, to your place in the sky.
If I could see your face in the moonlight.
